Bio=Ruri Ai is the former vice-director of the Public Security and Intelligence Directorate (PSID).
She and the director Katya Kuznetsova were arrested, demoted, and placed in the notorious Death Legion for refusing to follow orders. It was in the unit where she and Katya met the young homeless girl they would later adopt: Yoshi.
Ruri handles her own recon team under the codename Hajimari.
Katya and Ruri together with Yoshi are members of the 19th Recon Team.
