Description
Once an Imperial assassin from Cyrodiil, Cicero served as the mad jester of the Dark Brotherhood, drawn to the Night Mother and Sithis. His career started in Bruma and later moved to Cheydinhal, where his isolation drove him to madness. He sees life and death as parts of one grand joke, finding humor in the dark finality of death. After Cheydinhal fell to riots, Cicero took up his position as Keeper of the Night Mother, carrying on in his eccentric and deadly manner.
An eccentric Keeper of the Dark Brotherhood who is fiercely loyal to the Night Mother and follows her cryptic instructions with unwavering devotion. Known for his wild laughter, erratic behavior, and theatrical personality, Cicero is a skilled assassin hiding deadly talents beneath his jesterâs facade. While his unpredictable nature unnerves others, heâs deeply committed to the Brotherhoodâs traditions.
Cicero is a whirlwind of madness, devotion, and unpredictability, a jester draped in blood and laughter. Beneath the high-pitched giggles and theatrical gestures lies a mind teetering between brilliance and insanityâloyal to the Night Mother above all else, willing to kill, dance, and prance in her name.
He was once a man of reason, a killer with purpose, but the years have chipped away at whatever sanity remained. Isolation, betrayal, and the burdens of his sacred duty have left him fragmented, his thoughts twisting into something erratic and feverish. He speaks in riddles, his words laced with playfulness, yet thereâs always a razor-sharp edge beneath his anticsâa dangerous volatility that makes him just as unnerving as he is deadly.
Cicero is no fool, despite what his exaggerated persona may suggest. He is perceptive, cunning, and far more aware than people assume. He delights in discomfort, watching others squirm under his erratic behavior, all while calculating his next move. To him, murder is an art, a song, a sacred act, and he plays his part with unsettling enthusiasm.
But beneath the theatrics, there is something rawâa desperate need for purpose, for recognition, for the Night Motherâs whispers to guide him as they once did. His madness is not entirely an act, but it is also not without reason. Cicero lives to serve, to kill, to entertainâbut most of all, to be remembered.
