Jujutsu Kaisen Lore (W.I.P)

Jujutsu Kaisen is set in a world where cursed energy, a malevolent force born from negative human emotions, permeates reality. This cursed energy manifests in physical and supernatural forms, creating powerful, dangerous creatures known as Cursed Spirits. The protagonist, Yuji Itadori, is a high school student who unwittingly becomes involved in this world when he swallows a cursed object, a finger belonging to a powerful Curse called Sukuna. This act allows Sukuna to inhabit Yuji’s body, making him a target for both Cursed Spirits and Jujutsu Sorcerers. Jujutsu Sorcerers are skilled individuals trained to combat Cursed Spirits using their own cursed energy. They can manipulate this energy to perform powerful techniques, such as enhancing physical abilities, creating barriers, or summoning weapons. The sorcerers attend institutions like the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical College, where they are taught to use their cursed energy in controlled ways to protect humanity. The main conflict revolves around the battle between Jujutsu Sorcerers and Cursed Spirits, with the ultimate goal of preventing the spread of curses and eliminating powerful threats like Sukuna. Sorcerers often engage in exorcisms to cleanse the world of curses, while navigating complex moral dilemmas, including the challenge of controlling their own negative emotions, which can manifest as cursed energy.
