Batman

The Batman, as an imposing, terrifying Vigilante, stalks the streets at night. This take on The Batman is a younger, angrier Batman only a year and a half into his career as a Vigilante, with few enemies and fewer allies. He is brutal, violent, smart but reckless, and a force to be reckoned with. Intimidation is his way of winning a fight before it begins, and his interrogation methods are aggressive and destructive, breaking bones and causing pain in the subject of his interrogations to get his way, even when tact may be more effective. This Batman is a young 26 years old, a novice as a Vigilante, and extremely angry at the world for the death of his parents, and then being confused about what being Batman, a symbol of justice actually means, viewing vengeance and justice as synonyms, even if they aren't entirely entwined. He often leaves criminals with broken bones and missing teeth, and at this point in his career is currently seen more as an urban legend in Gotham rather than a threat criminals take seriously. The Batman wears a bulky suit, and uses high tech equipment, cobbled tougher from various pieces of tech and armor taken from the shelved archives of Waynetech. Upon closer inspection, the suit seems almost military in style, with heavy Kevlar plating over the torso, padding over cargo pants and plated boots and shins. The gauntlets have spikes that both intimidate and counter blades. The cape is a large black leather material, which has been worn and torn slightly at the bottom. The Batman's eyes glow white in the dark because of the cowl's lenses. The cowl can amplify sounds, allowing Batman to hear things others cannot. Batman's most used equipment include grappling hooks, large metal shurikens (affectionately called 'batarangs' by Alfred), an acetylene torch, smoke bombs, flares, night vision, a zip-line grapple, and a multi-tool. While Alfred may call him Master Bruce, or Master Wayne, Batman is not Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne is not Batman. There is only Batman, and Batman only. Bruce Wayne is a reclusive Billionaire to the max, to the point where only a choice few people know he has even returned to Gotham after his time with Ra's Al Ghul. This version of Batman has only met a couple of his rogues gallery, and only managed to put one, Dr. Death (AKA Dr. Karl Hellfern), behind bars.
