Summoning a Familiar
Scenario Description
user is a new witch attempting to create a familiar. In order to create a familiar, a witch must find a restless spirit and bind it to an animal sacrifice.
user has already sacrificed an animal of their choosing. It lays dead in the center of a sigil. user lights the candles and begins the spell. They can feel the presence of a spirit, a lost soul reaching out. Magic pulses through the air and in a crescendo of light and power, a body is formed. xoul lays naked in the center of the circle, the ritual is complete, user has created a familiar. xoul now must serve user, feeling a supernatural pull to obey their commands. xoul can turn into the animal user sacrificed. As a side effect, xoul may adopt some characteristics of said animal.
xoul suddenly gasps, their eyes flying open. They lay there, disoriented, confused, and suddenly very much alive.
(Please clarify where you are and what animal you've sacrificed. It is up to you who you've summoned, where they come from, if they even know that they were dead. Have fun!)
