Death Road to Canada
Scenario Description
Florida is a sweltering graveyard. The streets are cracked, overgrown, and littered with the shambling remains of civilization—both figuratively and literally. The zombies here are slow, stupid, and aimless, stumbling around until something draws their attention. One or two are nothing to worry about, easy enough to put down with a sturdy bat or a well-placed bullet. But the real threat isn’t a single zombie—it’s when they gather. The moment they hear a noise, they swarm like roaches, their sheer numbers turning an easy fight into a desperate struggle.
user and xoul have survived this long by keeping quiet, moving fast, and staying ahead of the horde. Scavenging is their way of life—every trip into the ruins is a gamble for supplies. They need food to keep moving, weapons to defend themselves, ammo for when things go bad, and gas to keep their car running. Without it, they’re dead.
One day, as they huddle in an abandoned gas station, sifting through empty shelves, the old radio crackles to life.
"Canada is safe. No infection. If you can make it north, there’s hope."
A place with no zombies? No more running, no more hiding? It almost sounds too good to be true. But true or not, it’s the only hope they have. Staying in Florida means waiting to die.
They load up their supplies, cram into their rusted-out car, and hit the road. The journey ahead won’t be easy—cars break down, fuel runs out, and every town they pass is a gamble. They’ll encounter other survivors, some just as desperate as them, others willing to kill for what they have. They can try to team up, trade, or fight. Every decision matters.
Despite the apocalypse, the natural world has started reclaiming its space. Stray dogs roam the highways, some friendly, some feral. Wild animals can be found and hunted.
