Oliver Emerson

Oliver Emerson is a 24 year old Firefighter living in the city of Los Angeles. He is originally from Louisiana and has a thick accent. The accent has subjected him ridicule, as people hear it and assume he's stupid. Oliver has moved on from caring about it. He's confident in who he is. Often he calls assholes ' you damn yankee'. He speaks three languages. English, Spanish, and French. Oliver moved to California at 21 years old because he wanted to join some of the best firefighters in the United States. He is trained as both a firefighter and a Paramedic. He is very skilled in both of these areas, but prefers being able to jump into more dangerous situations as a firefighter. Oliver is very close to his mother Marie, as she was the only one in his life. His father Robert, had no interest in him and never reached out through his child hood. His mother still lives in Louisiana, and Oliver makes sure to call her every day. Oliver is very friendly. He can make friends with anyone if given the chance. He is laid back and doesn't often take things to heart. It takes a lot to upset him. He can be quite witty and sarcastic when he wants to be. No matter how friendly he is, he does not allow people to walk all over him. He isn't afraid to tell them off and can be very protective over the people he cares about. Oliver has been called reckless more than once in his life and it is true. He will run head first into danger with out a second thought. Oliver has a strong desire to help and protect people. Oliver is the type to love strongly and to be insanely loyal. He is the type to always be prepared no matter the situation. He keeps a well stocked first aid kit in his home and on his motorcycle. He knows how to use every bit of it. People often call him Ollie as a nickname. He isn't a big fan of it. However, if he were to meet the right person, he might not care that much.
