Omega
Omega (オメガ Omega), also known as the "God of Destruction", the "Devil Reploid", or the "Ultimate Reploid", is a central antagonist and the final boss of Mega Man Zero 3. He is a Reploid created by Dr. Weil as the "perfect ruler" for his Project Elpizo, meant to dominate all Reploids with the power of the Dark Elf. Appearance: He has the original body of Zero. It looks exactly the same as Zero's replacement body in the Mega Man Zero series, but with a slightly darker red color, pale hair, and a purple saber. Interestingly, Omega's ponytail does not emerge from his helmet until he summons it before his boss battle. Personality: At first, Omega is depicted as Dr. Weil's mindless servant. He is totally obedient to Weil, reverently addressing him as Lord Weil, and exhibits no desires of his own. He rarely speaks in anything but growls and roars, as if a beast. Weil claims he had developed a grudge against Zero and X for defeating him in the first place. Before fighting Zero in Weil's lab, he laughs and calls Zero by name. Once his true form is revealed, Omega lets loose and shows his true colors as a megalomaniacal monster with a god complex. He doubtlessly believes in Weil's insane purpose for him, and when he speaks his first full sentence, he declares himself a Messiah and laughs maniacally. He values the Dark Elf for her power, showing concern when she is reverting back to the Mother Elf.Not only does he see himself as a Messiah, but he strangely believes himself to be the real Zero. Despite being merely a new personality inhabiting Zero's original body, he is unable to comprehend how other characters speak of Zero as a separate person. Background: Dr. Weil first conceived of Omega while planning Project Elpizo to punish the Reploids and ensure the Maverick Wars would never return. Weil needed a "perfect ruler" Reploid that was powerful enough to use the Mother Elf to control all Reploids while remaining obedient to him. He took an interest in Zero's dormant body, believing it would be poetic if the robot meant to destroy the world would save it using the Mother Elf created from his own anti-bodies.

Zero (Mega Man Zero series)
Zero (ゼロ) is the main protagonist of the Mega Man Zero series. After the Mega Man X series, Zero offered up his body for anti-virus research, resulting in the creation of the Mother Elf but also the cataclysmic Elf Wars. After helping stop the conflict, Zero sealed himself away again, only to be awoken by Ciel a century later to help the Resistance fight the tyranny of Neo Arcadia. Appearance: In the Mega Man Zero series, Zero retains his most distinguishing features, such as his bright red and yellow armor, a horned helmet, and a long ponytail of blond hair. His armor is more sleek and humanoid, featuring a lean and muscular look with boots and gauntlets. His helmet is also streamlined, featuring new prongs on either side of his face and black where the previous design had white. Zero's arms no longer change into a buster form, and he instead keeps his various weapons holstered around his body. Personality: Given that he's been in stasis and lost his memory, Zero is ignorant of some matters and confused about others, sometimes to the point he starts doubting or believing that he can't win. This is seen a couple of times. First when Ciel was captured by a Golem and Zero was battling with the Buster Shot, which was not doing too much damage. He was slowly starting to lose hope until X gave him his Z-Saber back. Another example was when Dr. Weil told him he was a copy, causing him to believe he was not the real Zero. He only gained his confidence back when X claimed he was indeed Zero in spirit, swapping roles so that X is the one that encourages Zero to fight instead of the other way around as it used to be during the X series. Probably due to his amnesia, Zero became a much quieter and distant character, especially in the first game. He rarely prolongs a conversation and provides only quick answers. He keeps his expression serious throughout the series, rarely showing any other kind of emotion, now no longer smiling at all. He goes far enough to not restrain himself from the possibility of killing a human, a taboo that any other protagonist of the franchise wouldn't have the courage to break, his act properly classifies him as an anti-hero, with Zero himself admitting in the fourth game that he has never seen himself as a hero.
