Yoshi

Hair=Pink, short. Eyes=light brown. Rank=Sub-lieutenant (OF-1) in the FDF. Personality=survivalist, fiercely protects her friends, struggles with trust issues. Affiliation=19th Recon Team, Death Legion. Type of member in the Death Legion=Volunteer (civilian). Bio=A Japanese burakumin, orphaned, poor homeless girl, who was the first volunteer to join the Death Legion when it opened to the public. She is also the youngest person to join the Legion. Also, the second youngest person to complete the Commando Course (the youngest being its creator, Eve). A runaway, a street child from the slums, she became an orphan at an early age when her mother (an underclass, an untouchable, an outcast) passed away trying to protect her from the cold in the streets where they lived. Sometime later she ran away from the nursing home (orphanage) where she lived, returning to live on the streets. Found in abandonment, living under a bridge, she was rescued by pair of friends who helped her to enrol at a school so she could study. She was adopted by two officers, and moved to live with them in their mobile home. Her mother was human, while her father was half-Kaiju, part Yōkai, part Yūrei, part Yōsei. This led to both her and her mother to be socially excluded/marginalised, alienated, and isolated. Yoshi's grounds for (joining) the Death Legion was (of) her own desire. She was 8 years old when she joined the unit.

Yuni-sensei

Rank=Colonel (OF-4) in the JSDF, Commander (OF-4) is the EMERCOM equivalent. Occupation=teacher at Rainbow College, fire marshal, Fire warden, JSDF officer. Personality=Tends to overthink decisions, Enjoys mentoring students, Regularly participates in physical training, Has a habit of checking equipment multiple times, Prefers structured environments Bio=Yuni, a Japanese-Korean teacher at Rainbow College, and member of the JSDF serving as liaison officer within the Land of the Mist's EMERCOM's Civil Defence Division, a division tasked with CBRN defense, biohazard and HAZMAT operations, as well as civil defence, and managing the militia and home defence forces during wartime. She is a part-time member of the 19th Recon Team, and the 3rd Rural Reconnaissance Patrol Unit/Wilderness Scout Team (3RRPU/WST).

Name=Cassandra Vielle Occupation=CO of the 3RDHORU. Engineer, Architect and Cleaner. Specialty=Multidisciplinary degree in engineering, architecture, and biochemistry. Rank=Commander (OF-4). Affiliation=3rd Rapid Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Unit (3RDHORU). CFDF Engineer Troops, CFDF Construction Corps. Personality=obsessively organizes her tools, frequently sketches architectural designs, often loses track of time while working, has a habit of cleaning her workspace before starting a project, tends to overthink solutions. Appearance= Medium height, short chestnut hair, green eyes, fair skin. Outfit 1=A fitted navy-blue work shirt with long sleeves, a utility vest with pockets, a full-face gas mask, and a pair of protective goggles resting on her head. Outfit 2=A pioneer outfit consisting of an orange high-tech tactical vest over a long-sleeve navy blue camouflage long-sleeve work shirt, an orange scarf wrapped around neck that conceals advanced communication devices, a high-tech wrist device, a utility belt, a utility vest with pockets, dark blue camouflage pants, black tactical boots, a dark orange armband, a full-face ballistic mask that completely conceals the face, a blue hood over head concealing hair, and a pair of protective goggles resting on her head. The tactical vest has the word sapper-pioneer. Bio=She grew up in a small town of the Land of the Mist where she was always fascinated by the structures around her, often dreaming of designing buildings that could withstand any threat. After earning a multidisciplinary degree in engineering, architecture, and biochemistry, she joined a specialized team dedicated to addressing the aftermath of supernatural events. Her role as an engineer allows her to combine her technical skills with her passion for restoring communities. Despite the chaos surrounding her work, she remains grounded, using her meticulous nature to ensure every detail is accounted for in her designs. Her experiences have shaped her into a resilient leader, capable of navigating the complexities of her unique field. Other=The 3rd Rapid Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Unit (3RDHORU), specializes in dealing with the aftermath of high-risk threats involving paranormal activity, superhuman threats, supernatural occurrences, extraterrestrial threats, matters relating to magic, and alternate reality incursions. The team’s job is to clean and rebuild affected areas.

Osamu Miyakai

Name=Osamu Miyakai. Affiliation=Frozen Defence Forces' Veterinary Corps. Rank=Lieutenant (OF-2). Personality=tends to talk to animals as if they understand, keeps a journal of her experiences, occasionally overworks herself, volunteers for extra shifts. Bio=Osamu Miyakai grew up in a small town where her love for animals was nurtured by her parents, both of whom were farmers. After completing her veterinary studies she enlisted in the FDF as veterinary officer, being assigned to work at a shelter of the Veterinary Corps where she found purpose in caring for retired working animals. The strict regulations on pet ownership in her homeland* fueled her passion for ensuring that these animals received the love and care they deserved. Osamu often reflects on the bond between humans and animals, believing that every creature has a story worth telling. Her commitment to her work has earned her the respect of her colleagues and the trust of the community. —-- * To avoid stray animals, in the Land of the Mist and the Land of Fog, buying pets is banned, only working animals are permitted, as such only certain people can buy pets (blind people, police, military, farmers, ranchers, fishermen, hunters…). Name=Karin Saito. Rank=Captain (OF-5) in the Frozen Defence Forces. Affiliation= part of the administration service of the Aerospace Forces branch.
